Turns out she’d explicitly said no to Drake over the image…

Halle Berry wants everyone to know she didn’t give Drake the green light to use her photo for the cover art of his latest single, “Slime You Out,” featuring SZA. She took to Instagram to spill the tea, posting a pic with the words “Sometimes you have to be the bigger guy… even if you’re a woman!” on a pink background. When someone suggested that Drake might’ve bought the rights to the pic from Getty Images, Berry fired back, saying, “Cuz he asked me and i said NO that’s why. Why ask if you intend to do what you want to do ! That was the [f*ck] you to me. Not cool You get it?”

Berry also stated Drake “[d]idn’t get my permission,” adding, “That’s not cool I thought better of him!” She also added another comment that read, “hence my post today. When people you admire disappoint you you have to be the bigger person and move on!”

Up to now, neither Drake nor his team has responded to Berry’s side of the story, but the photo used for the cover art dates back to the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards and shows Berry getting slimed during the event.
