Hip hop heads and fan of Aussie music in general, hold on tight, as the prodigal son from Redfern The Kid LAROI is finally returning from the States for a series of Aussie headline shows next May for his ‘End Of The World’ tour. The announcement feels like it’s been years in the making, the Kid tearing it up across the ditch with smash hits like ‘GO,’ ‘WITHOUT YOU’ and his most recent release ‘STAY’ ft. Justin Bieber while playing scores of international festivals like Reading, Leeds and Rolling Loud.
Taking to Instagram, LAROI wrote alongside the announcement ‘I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE YOU ALL THERE FOR A ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE. I LOVE YOU FAMILY, LET’S DO THIS SH*T’ while adding in an official statement “I am beyond excited to share this experience with you all. It’s always been a dream of mine to headline a global tour. I cannot wait to see my fans all around the world and give them something that they won’t ever forget. It’s been a long time coming.”
The announcement also comes hot off the heels of LAROI’s performance at the VMAs yesterday with ‘Stay’ collaborator Justin Bieber. Featuring multi-storey stunts, larger than life production and enough strobes to rival a night at Candy’s Apartment, the performance was a superstar affair in every sense of the word. Not to mention, it was just sick to see LAROI more than holding his own against a seasoned performer like Bieber.
No doubt big times lie ahead for the kid from Redfern. Pre-sale tickets go on sale tomorrow at 11am through the Telstra Plus with the General Public sale beginning on Friday at 11am. Suss full ticket deets and show dates below.
