You might remember a few months back we reported that rapper Lil Uzi Vert had a $US24 million diamond planted in his head, spawning hundreds of Thanos-related memes and probably more hype than any piercing/jewellery in recent memory. He’d been reportedly saving money since 2017 for the diamond, which was purchased from New York jewellers Elliante & Co., and had taken to twitter to brag about it:

Now, video has emerged of Lil Uzi saying that it was ripped out of his forehead at hip hop festival Rolling Loud in Miami back in June following a stage dive:

As you can see he doesn’t seem too phased by the idea that he nearly let a lifetime’s worth of money slip right out from his… ahhh… forehead, but my god there must have been some anxious moments when he thought he may have lost the rare pink diamond, right?
