Gotta pay respect to the legends…

What if I told you at one point G-Eazy was in the running to play Elvis in a biopic? I’m totally series, despite his being a world famous rapper, he’s actually a super heavy rock fan, which should come as no surprise given his rock heavy appearance.

It seems quarantine is helping G (do we say G or Eazy?) hone his inner rocker, releasing covers of Radiohead’s ‘Creep’ featuring Ashely Benson and The Beatles’ ‘Im So Tired’.

Creep sees G team up with Pretty Little Liars star to deliver a more laid back version of the haunting classic, with a catchy piano and a super cool breakdown from Phil Collins’ ‘Feel It In The Air Tonight’. The pair actually make quite a cool duo if we’re honest, here’s hoping they release plenty more collabs in the future.

G’s ‘Im So Tired’ cover gets you right in the feels, as G perfectly employs the use of vocal effects to bring just the right amount of softness and levity needed to bring John Lennon’s lyrics to life. Super dope.

Cool as right? Let’s hope G continues to put out these kinds of covers, as it’s super cool to see him swap the rapper hat for the rocker hat (which he fits perfectly).
