Having previously stepped in for an ultra-popular edition of Tuesday Without, LWA audiences are probably familiar with Amy Jane Brand – but not behind the decks.
Amy has just released her first mix on SoundCloud, which is 20 minutes of pure adrenaline and robotic wub-wubs. Titled ‘Bout That Bass’, most of the stuff on here is giving us flashbacks to sweaty nights at Fake Club (RIP) and Chinese Laundry – lots of maximalist dubstep, relentless electro, hyperactive builds and gargantuan drops. There’s even a little remix of Drake & Future banger ‘Big Rings’ and a touch of The Game’s favoured banger ‘El Chapo’.
This is one way to get through hump day – blast this mix as loud as you can, get shirtless, drink a can of Red Bull and start doing laps around your living room. We’ll have to wait and see what else Amy has in store on the DJ front:
