Mountain Sounds Festival is fast approaching for its 3rd instalment of madness on the Central Coast. Hosting the likes of Jack Beats, Cut Snake, Violent Soho, Slumberjack and a abundance of Australian and international talent, its shaping up to be quite the summer close out party.

We are lucky enough to be giving away a VIP double pass to which means you could end up backstage rubbing shoulders with local central coast heart throb and soon to be Uber driver Elijah Scadden!!!! Enter the competition via our Facebook page. Tag your best friend you would want to share your Mountain Sounds adventure  with.

To celebrate the occasion we are going to look back at some of our favourite moments over the past two years at Mountain Sounds

JACKLWA-1

Zooper fucking Doopers – The first thing i witnessed at the inaugural Mountain Sounds Festival was this beautiful neon pink sign. 1 cola flavoured Zooper Dooper and i was the happiest kid at the festival

JACKLWA-4

Live art with subtle but extremely important messages which really sets the tone for the whole festival. Don’t be a dick

JACKLWA-3

I would be lying if i knew what was happening here, but at some stage at the 2014 MSF a guy dressed as jesus dragged a bunch of hay bails onto the middle of the dance floor and raised a black baby like a weird scene out of the Lion King gone wrong…

JACKLWA-12

Not all people are blessed with the height of Shaquille O’Neal, but for this lucky festival punter she was given some extra height as her friends raised her up in air to witness Alison Wonderland play some absolute bangers!

JACKLWA-10

It must be something in the water but the Central Coast always seems to provide us with plenty of eye candy.

JACKLWA-5

Another one to bring back those school yard memories, a little bit of dancefloor jump rope. Not to mention the spectacular sunset that was going down in the background

JACKLWA-11

The hidden gem of Mountain Sounds is always the Bus Stage. Tucked around the back of the festival there is always some groovy house tunes being mixed in the back of an old school bus. One place you will catch the LWA crew getting down every year!

JACKLWA-13

Who doesnt love a big ending. Confetti, Co2 and smoke machines. For a boutique festival the boys know how to put some production on. If the past two years have been anything to go by then Mountain Sounds 2016 will be another festival not to miss.

Dont miss out on tickets. head to http://www.mountainsoundsfestival.com.au/ to scoop some of the last few up!!!
