For many fans of Rick & Morty watching a live performance of them would be about as cool as if season 4 were drop right into their laps. The show that is known for its crass humour and nihilistic worldview has become something of an enigmatic entity over the last few years, building from a cult following to an all out gamechanger in the cartoon landscape.
Now you can see “The Rick and Morty Musical Ricksperience,” which is a live interpretation of the music from the show, as performed by a 37-piece orchestra with special guests. Needless to say, we can expect audiences to be getting very schwifty, with the lineup chocked with big names (that aren’t fictional) such as Run the Jewels, Neko Case, and Flying Lotus, as well as comedians Hannibal Buress and Jo Firestone.

The festival takes place on October 5th, 6th and 7th, (info here) and hopefully will go someway to filling the gap in our miserable lives until season 4 of Rick & Morty comes out in 2019, with a recent trailer for the show (above) giving away no clues on storylines.
