The tour will also mark the departure of drummer Rob Nassif.

Having recently unleashed ‘4YRLV’ – their first new music since 2017 double single ‘Crooked Thought / DABS’ – a few weeks ago, Aussie rock legends Gyroscope have today backed it up with a video that seems to have spawned from the mind of a DIY madman. Complete with alien cutouts, stoned toast, and drowning monster-people, the clip illustrates the power of a bit of creativity and a twisted vision.

The grungey nature of the tune suits the visuals perfectly. Frontman Dan Sanders’ gritty vocals meld with hooky melodies, which are back by huge riffs and thumping drums. It’s the classic Gyroscope formula that clearly has not waned over the years. In fact, after you watch ‘4YRLV’, we highly recommend sliding in a Gyroscope YouTube wormhole, and refamiliarising yourself with their amazing body of work ahead of their national tour.
