You remember guitars right?

Former guitarist of The Chats and frontman of Pricey, Josh Price does. Not that he’s got anything against the wave of DJ-led festivals and events that seem to be popping up faster than pimples on a 14-year-old, it’s just that the young man wants to rock, which is why he’s started The Big Weekend festival:

“The Big Weekend came about when I recently formed the new band “Pricey”, starting at the bottom again and working our way up the ladder that never ends,” he says. “It made me appreciate how lucky I am to have had my experience and how hard it can be for artists to achieve their goals. I wanted to create opportunities in a positive space on a platform where artists and punters can come together to support live music, enjoy themselves and appreciate the greatest thing that life has to offer, Rock n Roll.”

Pricey, who is rarely spotted without his Childe sunnies, is also bringing along some of his favourite bands to the shows on the Goldy, Coolum and Brissy. The Terrys, Peach Fur, Dusty and Brixton Alley will all be taking to the stage when the big weekend rolls into town over April and May.
