Time to get weird.

Alongside his Splendour in the Grass performance, Shlohmo announces a extensive Australia and New Zealand tour – with his WEDIDIT crew in tow.

The WEDIDITcollective got their start DJing friend’s house parties in their hometown of Los Angeles; little did they know their cough syrup and cheap beer infused cuts of simmering R&B, 8-bit beats and twisted electronic would soon garner them a world-wide audience and launch an international label.

The tour celebrates Shlohmo’s mesmerizing new album “Dark Red” and will be his first show in AUS/NZ with his live band and visual dshow. Joining him on tour will be partners-in-crime D33J, Purple and Nick Melons. D33J is a purveyor of hazy late night jams, where aquatic textures overlap with bedroom clicks while London-based Purple pairs hypnotic shoegaze synths with trill snares and clouds of paranoid energy. Expect the unexpected from D33J and Purple on their debut trip down under.

And who else to open this tour up than Nick Melons? The co-founder of the collective and resident WEDIDIT tour DJ.
