Maybe these months-long lockdowns were just preparing us for this?

The world’s most loveable gangsta is heading down under. Seven years after headlining the last instalment of Big Day Out, hip-hop legend and supreme blunt-roller Snoop Dogg is returning to Australia for a string of arena shows across the country next year. A welcome silver lining for post-pandemic live music, Snoopy’s Aussie tour will kick off in October of next year, and will see the East Coast rapper perform tracks from his 2019 album, I Wanna Thank Me.

Starting in Perth before filling-out stadiums in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, the I Wanna Thank Me tour will run from October 26th until November 1st. Pre-sale tickets will be available via Telstra Plus at midday this Friday (September 10), with general release going live next Monday at 4pm through Ticketek (September 13).

Peep below for the full tour details, and in the meantime prepare yourself with a celebratory spliff, because 2022 can’t come soon enough.
