The festival will mark Steve’s first time back in the country since 2020…

Following UK grime artist Stormzy’s cancellation of his upcoming Aussie dates this morning, Spilt Milk have found a more than worthy replacement for the beloved headliner, tapping R&B sensation Steve Lacy. Set to play Spilt Milk across Canberra, Ballarat and the Gold Coast, the string of shows will be Steve’s first Aussie festival run since 2018.

Along with his addition to Spilt Milk, the ‘Bad Habit’ singer has announced the Aussie leg of his ‘Give You The World’ tour. Kicking off on November 22nd in Melbourne, the upcoming gigs will see the acclaimed producer play the Forum Theatre, the Tivoli in Brissy and Sydney’s Enmore Theatre in support of his latest album, Gemini Rights.

Comprised of hits like ‘Bad Habit’, ‘Helmet’ and ‘Sunshine’ ft. Fousheé, the sophomore effort from the 24-year-old has garnered critical and commercial acclaim since its release in July (read our full breakdown of it here). Now, after playing Gemini Rights across the world over the past two months, the DIY maestro is set to return down under to what is expected to be a warm welcome.

Looks like Aussie fans of the OG Gemini King will finally get to see him up close and personal. Presale tickets for the ‘Give You The World’ tour go on sale from 9am next Tuesday, with general sale available the day after. You can also cop resale tickets to this year’s Spilt Milk here.
