It’s Danny Brown, Kendrick Lamar & Ab-Soul of TDE and OFWGKTA emcee Earl Sweatshirt on top of Black Milk production, it’s five menacing minutes of rap that only really gives the listener some relief during Lamar’s nonchalant hook. Brown’s signature nasal delivery is followed by the raspy boom of Ab-Soul, who gives some fashion nods to Balmain and A Bathing Ape before Lamar and Sweatshirt close the show.
Speaking on the album, Brown said “at the end of the day, its just something that I really took my time with. I know this day and age, a lot of artists can’t really take time off to make music … they’ll get replaced. With me, [I’m] somebody that’s able to sit down and be able to take my time, ’cause aint nobody gonna be out here sounding like me, ain’t nobody gonna be out here doing what I do.”
