Following lighting up Newcastle and Queensland with a much-delayed This That earlier this year, the organisers behind the iconic festival are bringing it back for a second 2022 iteration…

You know what they say, “all good festivals come in twos” (alright, we may have just made that up), but still, you’re not gonna hear anyone complaining about This That’s announcement of a second 2022 event. Considering that the premiere dance and pop festival saw the likes of LUUDE, Sycco, Badrapper, What So Not and countless more take to the stage in just March of this year, they’ve set the bar pretty damn high for themselves. But somehow defying the odds, the team behind the festival have come through with a lineup to rival the March batch.

Headlined by the likes of Earl Sweatshirt, Flight Facilities and Vera Blue, this year’s festivities will also see the Chillin It and the Presets, who’ll take to the Sandstone Point and Newcastle venues on October 29th and November 5th. Elsewhere, the lineup includes Alice Ivy, Hockey Dad and Ruby Fields, while DMA’s and The Presets will perform at each venue only. Triple J unearthed winners will also grace the stage, alongside additional lineup entrants Hooligan Heffs, Set Mo and Skeggs.

As is normally the case with the homegrown festival, tickets are expected to fly out the door, so you best get in quick. Presale is available from this Wednesday (June 29) at 9am here, while general sale goes live at the same time on Friday (July 1) here.  In the meantime, check out the full lineup for This That 2.0 below.
