Still riding waves of success off the back of her Perennial LP, indie pop queen Vera Blue has been announced as the first act to be heading to the rolling hills of South Gippsland for 2019’s The Hills Are Alive Festival. It’s a sign of good things to come with organisers claiming that this edition, which will be taking place Friday 29 to Sunday 31 March, will be their largest yet.
It will all be happening on The Farmer’s family farm, where you can expect to see loads of comedy, Tiny Rave Cave, Bar at the Edge of the World, yoga, an old school bus serving scones and lemonade, karaoke, and some seriously competitive ping pong. Don’t forget it’s BYO, which will save you about a million dollars.
Early-bird tickets go on sale tomorrow right here, and stay tuned for the full lineup which will be dropping shortly!
