In case you just missed triple j’s announcement, Surfer’s Paradise is getting a brand new fezzy. Debuting over Queensland Labour Day long weekend April 29th, 30th and May 1st, Golden shores is boasting a seafront party that includes an eclectic mix of homegrown talent, cherry-picking the cream of the crop from hip hop/rap, EDM and indie.
On the rap-heavy first night, you can catch Sydney and Melbourne’s finest in the form of Youngn Lipz, HP Boyz, and Triple One gracing the stage. Followed by electronica on the Saturday night with dance royalty The Presets and triple j faves Safia joining Lastlings, Young Franco and more. And finally closing out the event will be red-headed vocal powerhouse Vera Blue, San Cisco and Winston Surfshirt. My gawd.
