Mind boggled.

Following on from their episodes one and two of their Far Out Garden Sounds series, which featured New Zealand’s Joe Ghatt and Melbourne’s Sunfruits, our favourite purveyors of psych weirdness Third Eye Stimuli are at it again. Episode three sees garage-rockers The B-Side Tangent take to the… ahhh… grass for a wholesome slice of vintage groove.

The instrumental tune, which combines jangly guitar, some creamy keys and smooth bass lines, is really a tale of two sections, with the track taking a sharp and unexpected turn midway through, locking into a different feel completely. It’s a fun journey that you don’t want to end, which we can imagine will really kick when played live (which hopefully isn’t too far away).

The clip was shot by Matt Dempsey from Masses Collective and sees the trio take to a sub-tropical backyard on the Leisure Coast.
