It’s definitely fair to say we’re properly finding for some new Drake music, the Toronto Don hot on the heels of finishing his long-awaited sixth album Certified Lover Boy. As we edge closer toward the end of the year, it’s becoming clear we probably won’t get the album soon, but that doesn’t mean Drizzy is staying quiet for the last couple months of 2020, instead opting for the release of his new collab with Nike.
Teasing the collab like only he can, the ‘Nice For What’ rapper has dropped a brief promo video tracking a river, before panning up to the Toronto skyline, with some surreal looking arrows. The music then intensifies as it flashes to a December 18 release date, all before cutting to black.
We got a taste back in August of what to expect from the collab, with Drizzy sharing a post to his IG stories featuring a white Nike baseball hat and Nike Air socks (which come in black and white). It seems he’s going for a more minimalist look with the collab, and no doubt it ties into Certified Lover Boy in some capacity.
The collab is all set to drop December 18. Check out the full teaser below.
