A few weeks ago, we returned to our spiritual home of Newcastle for This That festival, and it was a definite nice time for all.

Combining the country’s best dance and hip-hop acts alongside the very notable addition of ScHoolboy Q – the West Coast rapper leading Kendrick Lamar’s TDE imprint – it’s been awesome to watch This That grow into Newy’s biggest event – a region all too often ignored by music promoters. The huge crowds that swarmed Newcastle Foreshore proved that the youth are hungry as ever, and This That festival provided the sonic banquet that they’d been waiting for all year.
