Levelling up and striking a proper home run with their latest marketing efforts, Activision and Toys for Bob have linked up for the new trailer for Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, and they’ve totally outdone themselves, recruiting Quavo from the Migos.
The ad sees the iconic Crash Bandicoot mascot in front of a sneaker store causing an absolute ruckus, all before Quavo himself appears, resulting in a short performative rap between the pair explaining the game’s new mechanics. It ends with Crash asking Quavo to be his hype man, an offer which Quavo hilariously declines.
Speaking on the new game, Quavo did confess that it was “a little tough” compared to previous instalments in the beloved franchise, adding “It’s a blessing to be part of the franchise that I grew up playing. It’s like a dream come true.”
It’s safe to say that all of us that grew up playing the game are a thousand times more jealous of him now, but we’re happy for anyone who gets an appearance in a Crash Bandicoot trailer, which is far better than receiving any award.
