Such a Tyler move.

If you’ve ever wondered whether Tyler, The Creator’s ego has gotten ahead of him, this video should put your mind at ease…

Although he’s getting stacks of praise for his latest album Call Me If You Get Lost and his recent live shows as of late, platinum-selling rapper Tyler, The Creator is still managing to troll his audience like few others, and his latest prank is making the rounds online.

Performing at the second weekend of the ACL Music Festival in Austin, Texas, the ‘LUMBERJACK’ rapper suddenly felt the need to “humble” himself in between songs, asking the crowd “Can you boo me real quick?”

Surprisingly, the attendees didn’t miss a beat, immediately jeering at and booing him so hard you’d think he’d just insulted their whole city (which, let’s face it, wouldn’t be out of character). The interaction only lasts a couple of seconds however, all before Tyler replies “Thank you, I needed to be humbled” and launching into the next song.

It’s quintessential Tyler to say the least. Fingers crossed this becomes a tradition at all of his future live shows (particularly his ones down under next year). Check out the full ordeal below.
