It’s no secret that Splendour In The Grass sells out so fast nowadays that acquiring tickets is a huge achievement in itself.

We’re assuming that Splendour punters will be especially snappy in 2017, with a lineup boasting The XX, Stormzy, LCD Soundsystem, Queens Of The Stone Age, ScHoolboy Q, HAIM and approximately a million more. Oh yeah, Lil Yacthy is also playing. Lil Yachty! Huge.

Tickets go on sale this Thursday, April 6, and while people are probably updating their Wi-Fi connections and getting their clicking fingers ready as we speak, there’s a way to avoid that whole conundrum and win yourself four three-day camping tickets to Splendour, and it’s easy as piss.

SITG have just dropped a new App for the festival on iPhone iOS and Android. When you download the App, there’s a ‘Photobooth’ section. Click that, and here’s where it gets creative. SITG are asking you to take your own band photo with your IRL mates, further encouraging you to “dust off the pleather flares, smooth out your mullet, steal your mum’s eyeliner and get practicing your best blue steel.”

Once you take the flick, make a band name up and your font of choice. Upload the flick to Instagram, tag your three mates of choice as well as @SplendourInTheGrass and #SplendourBandits and keep your fingers crossed. SITG have given you plenty of ammunition and room to manoeuvre with this competition, so think outside the box and come up with the most kick-ass flick ever. You can enter as many times as you like – just make sure your Instagram isn’t set to private.
