Following on from 2012’s inescapable anthem ‘Call Me Maybe’, Carly Rae Jepsen drops another sugar-coated pop jam with ‘I Really Like You’.
Having drawn over 600,000 views in the few hours it’s been released, Jepsen shows she still has pull with her tendency for addictive hooks and dancefloor-friendly production. As a couple of media outlets have pointed out, she says “really” 67 times in this ode to a potential spouse, and yes, it’s catchy as hell.
A film clip is coming which will apparently star both Tom Hanks and Justin Bieber (what a combo), so don’t be surprised if Jepsen fever kicks into full drive in the coming weeks.
