There have been 38 candidates proposed as possible additions to your emoji keyboard in next year’s Unicode update, and it looks like texting is about to get a whole lot funner.

Emojipedia commissioned some artists to imagine what the potential additions might look like, which include:

• A withering flower and black heart for all the heartbroken teenagers still stuck in their emo phase.
• Avacado and bacon for all your crucial #Foodstagram posts from an overpriced Bondi cafe.
• A ‘Call me’ gesture which could also be interpreted as a vertical shaka.
• A selfie symbol if you’re Kim Kardashian.
• A stop sign when somebody just needs to stop texting back.
