This will be large.

Flume’s been dropping a promising single here, a sneaky BBC Radio 1 mix over there, but we’re all patiently waiting for the real deal: His second album Skin, which is set to be one of the biggest Australian releases of 2016.

Flume recently stated that the album is “very different” to his game-changing debut, while also saying that he’s “finally at the end” of his writing process. Moreover, he said that “there’s a bunch of different features. I’ve actually worked with a lot of vocalists for this one. I wanted to try and basically branch out, a lot of the first record was instrumental so I wanted to write some songs on this record. There’s a lot of features, but I’m going to keep them under my hat for now.”

Given that songs with the likes of Vince Staples and Andrew Wyatt have dropped in the past few months, we’ll hold Flume to that promise – especially seeing as Lily Allen also hinted at a collaboration. However, today it’s another production duo which have teased a track with the Sydney born star.

Disclosure have previously connected with Flume on the massive ‘You & Me’ official remix, which took over festivals convincingly when it dropped back in 2013. Now, it looks like the two parties will fuse forces once again, with Disclosure posting an Instagram photo featuring Flume with the UK duo’s signature face scribbles. The post has since been deleted, but was screenshotted by eager fans, because it’s the Internet in 2016.

Whether this is an actual collaboration or another remix remains to be seen – the same goes for whether or not this will appear on Skin. Whatever the case, this will be very large. See the image below and fingers crossed for something to drop soon:
