The twenty-minute video sees the band – singer Jade McInally, guitarist Tim Harvey and bass player Madeline Lo-Booth, along with touring members, drummer Winter McQuinn and keyboardist Jane Harvey – performing five tracks from their 2022 album.
The performance unfolds against a constantly shifting set, which oozes vibrant colours as the camera perpetually pans between performers. It’s reminiscent of Djion’s Absolutely film (if you know, you know).

Filmed at Ok Motels’ headquarters in Ballarat, Victoria, Jade Imagine‘s video was co-directed by the band and Nick Mckk (who you might recognise as Julia Jacklin’s longtime collaborator, although he’s also worked with the likes of Spacey Jane, Rolling Blackouts C.F., Stella Donnelly, Merpire and more), with art direction and set design from Honey Long and Prue Stent and sound mixing by Marcel Borrack and the band’s Tim Harvey.
Fresh off the back of supporting Stella Donnelly on select shows for her national Flood tour earlier this year, the video comes ahead of Jade Imagine’s long-awaited Melbourne album launch, which is going down on Friday, June 2 at Brunswick Ballroom. (For tickets and info, head here).
