While Sydney’s stream of burger joints doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon, nobody does it quite like Mary’s.

For the second year running, the local burger lords are serving up a more colourful rendition of their most coveted menu item: Get reacquainted with The Fairy’s Burger, arriving just in time for Mardi Gras week! A nod to the Mardi Gras rainbow, customers can transform their burger into a hypercolour dream for $1 extra – featuring a bun dusted in hundreds and thousands for a slight hit of sweetness.

Furthermore, every $1 extra spent at the restaurant will be matched by another $1 which will go to a LBGTQIA charity, donated by Mary’s boys Jake Smyth and Kenny Graham.

The jazzed up burgers will be available from today until March 6, so you have plenty of opportunities to head down to Mary’s and indulge in The Fairy’s Burger – or maybe two and a whole chicken if you’re feeling hungry. It’s available from both their Newtown and CBD locations, as well as fresh Paddington haunt The Unicorn Hotel. Check out the drool-worthy pictures below and head over on your lunchbreak:
