Having just dropped a fiery remix of Major Lazer’s definitive 2015 hit ‘Lean On’, we would love to see the bass king come back for another round of festival dates – especially considering how much fun we had welcoming the year with him. Shoeys are mandatory for everybody this time around.

In an earlier interview with Major Lazer, they hinted that collaborators from their Peace Is The Mission album could be joining them on their Australian tour. MØ is “a partner with us and loves playing with us live”, although she’ll be in Australia as part of Splendour In The Grass in a few weeks. Meanwhile, Chronixx “might be on some shows, we’ll just see what happens.” Other guests on the album include Pusha T, 2 Chainz & Travis Porter – let’s just hope that nobody tries to steal his shoes if he makes it to Australia.

If Diplo is in the country, we’re hoping that Skrillex comes out too for a Jack Ü set of epic proportions. We just want to sing ‘Where Are Ü Now’ as loud as we can. Similarly, a Boys Noize & Skrillex joint set under the Dog Blood banner was scheduled to take place at Stereosonic 2013, but was halted after Skrillex ‘s cancellation. Let’s hope he pulls through in 2015.
Since his first headline tour back in 2014, Golden Features has grown exponentially – he just wrapped up another national run culminating in a monster co-headling show with What So Not in Adelaide. Now we think that he’s ready for this country’s biggest festival stages – and speaking of What So Not…

We’re getting flashbacks of Emoh dropping French Montana from last year’s festival and getting a little teary.

Having been booked for Coachella, Splendour In The Grass & Listen Out as well as her own warehouse tour of the country – which sold well over 25,000 tickets nationally – Alison is a festival machine and Stereosonic’s more bass-centric stages would be sure to host her.
With the WeDidIt collective having recently released an impressive Cruel Intentions EP alongside Canadian rapper Tory Lanez, RL Grime dropped the highlight cut of the project with ‘In For It’. Having played Stereosonic before, we know that he can get it done on the HARD Stage and even the bigger rooms – better yet, let’s hope that Tory Lanez comes out with him.
CARMADA

This Sydney duo dropped one of 2014’s most loved festival bangers with ‘Maybe’, and even served up Groovin’ The Moo with a Blink 182 remix when they played the regional festival. Quickly becoming one of the local scene’s favourite live acts, we would welcome Carmada at Stereosonic with open arms and ears.
