Sydney Clubbers, Rejoice: A FakeClub Reunion Is Happening Next Month
The glory days.

While the lockout laws have forced a string of Kings Cross venues to close their doors in recent months, it was way back in 2012 that we said goodbye to one of our favourite haunts tucked right behind Bayswater Road: FakeClub.

Having played host to the likes of Calvin Harris, Nero, Justice, Simian Mobile Disco and our personal favourite Araabmuzik, the venue was a much-loved hub for all those who preferred their dancefloors a little more intense, a tad grittier and a whole lot sweatier.

Now, it has been announced overnight that there will be a FakeClub reunion for one time only, just under three years following its closure. A Facebook event promises “the DJs, the music, the door staff, the visuals, the familiar faces, the atmosphere – just how you remembered it.” The shindig is set to take place on September 26, with a full lineup coming soon.

Keep an eye out for just what’s going down at Fake Club next month, and prepare to relive your clubbing glory days in what’s sure to be a bender. There will be sweat.
