When Laneway Festival dropped their lineup last month, Vic Mensa was just one of our favourites among the likes of Banks, Flying Lotus, Flight Facilities and a stack of other legends.

Now, the Chicago rapper has announced two headline shows for the East Coast. He’ll perform at The Hi Fi in Sydney on Wednesday February 4, before taking over The Corner Hotel on Thursday february 5. This will be his debut Australian visit, so expect something big.

Tickets go on sale from 9:00am this Friday. We won’t be surprised if this sells out – especially with the success of ‘Down On My Luck’ and Mensa’s formidable reputation as a live performer. Jump to one of the dates listed above to see one of hip-hop’s most exciting breakthrough stars.
