Honouring one of the most influential West Coast rap crews of all time, ‘Straight Outta Compton’ is a film that delves into the meteoric rise of N.W.A.
Here we have another trailer which first examines the influence of the group, with modern icons like Kendrick Lamar & The Game explaining how the gangster rap pioneers paved the way for themselves and their colleagues.
We then get a look at the film itself, which as expected includes plenty of LA Raiders merchandise, chants of ‘Fuck The Police’ and even some studio time wedged between the madness. Yep, this looks really great – it’s set to drop in August, so hopefully an Australian release will be granted soon after.
