For many of us, our first taste of a full-blown celebrity crush involved endless stretches of sand, slow motion, a red one piece and a blonde bombshell by the name of Pamela Anderson. While it’s been around two decades since she graced the television screen as CJ Parker, a replacement has been named for the incoming Baywatch movie.

Kelly Rohrback will be playing the famed lifeguard in the film, alongside The Rock and Zac Efron in what is said to be a more comedic, modern take on the favoured television series. Rohrback was the Sports Illustrated 2015 Swimsuit Rookie of the Year, so we’re thinking that a beach-centric role is perfect for her – see her editorial below, shot by Yu Tsai in sunny California.
