Lebron James Promises Full University Scholarships To Help Thousands

In an act of great importance to many young lives, Lebron James, has pledged to give paid-in-full scholarships to 2000 students so they can attend the University of Akron… A gesture we highly applaud.

Prospective students are required to graduate from Akron public high school and meet various standardised testing and community service criteria. 2015’s 7th grade class is the first eligible group for the scholarships. 2021 awaits.

“These students have big dreams, and I’m happy to do everything I can to help them get there. They’re going to have to earn it, but I’m excited to see what these kids can accomplish knowing that college is in their futures.” Lebron James

Since announcing his gesture the University of Akron has proceeded to change the name of it’s education program to the LeBron James Family Foundation.
