You know if Conor McGregor roasts you you might have done something wrong…

It seems the Australian Open ridiculousness and unhappy tennis players in hotel quarantine is not dying down any time soon, with various athletes and notable figures weighing in on the whole situation. Now, the UFC’s favourite son Conor McGregor has given his thoughts on the madness, and he’s not holding back.

Speaking to The Project, the former UFC champ slammed the tennis stars and their grievances with the Australian Open and hotel quarantine process, saying “I am surprised the tennis players would be kicking up.

“We have got to correct ourselves here, you know. There is a lot going on. There is at lot at risk. It is everyone’s duty here on this earth to do what they can. To get to compete in such a prestigious tennis tournament or any tournament, a two-week lockdown prior they should welcome that with open arms.

To be fair, it’s not like McGregor is talking out of his ass, the Irishman currently in his own two-day lockdown in Abu Dhabi as he gears up to face Dustin Poirier at UFC 257. However, we’re betting his lockdown is way better than that of the tennis players, the Notorious locking down on his own yacht instead of a hotel, saying “I came from a mega yacht. My yacht is parked across from the hotel, but this is inside the bubble. I brought myself off the yacht into this hotel. There is not a complaint.

“I am eager to compete. I want to perform for any fans and give entertainment to the people around the world who are going through so much at this time. It is an honour for me to do so.”

Can’t argue with that. Check out the full interview below.
