Wishing him a speedy recovery…

In some nightmarish news for the Lakers, LeBron James has suffered a pretty cooked ankle energy while playing against the Atlanta Hawks., and there are no guesses or predictions as to when he’ll return to the court.

The sprain came after Hawks player Solomon Hill dove for a loose ball on Saturday arvo, but ended up rolling on James’ right ankle, which consequently sent him to the ground in pain. Like the true champ he is though, he attempted to keep playing through it, to keep carrying his team like he’s done for the past year. But the pain was too great, and he was ultimately sent off after making a three.

So far an x-ray on James’ ankle has come back negative which is encouraging, but there’s still no word on when he’ll be back on the court. Now the Lakers, who are sitting at 28-14 on the year, are now missing two of their best players in James and Anthony Davis, who is also out indefinitely due to achilles tendonosis.

Fingers crossed they can maintain their standing over teams like the San Antonio Spurs and the Phoenix Suns, both of whom have the same or similar number of wins as in the tournament so far.  And of course, our fingers are all the way crossed that LeBron makes a speedy recovery. Watch the moment he got injured below.
