Let’s do it Mamba style…

ESPN held the first ever virtual version of The ESPS this past Sunday, and it definitely made for a different but equally as impactful experience. Co-hosts Megan Rapinoe, Sue Bird and Russell Wilson opened the show speaking on the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and Rayshard Brooks, along with a powerful tribute to the Black Lives Matter movement.

The show later saw hip hop OG Snoop Dogg rap a tribute to the late great Kobe Bryant, and it’s every bit as emotional as you’d expect. The two-and-a-half-minute clip sees cuts of Kobe on the court & Kobe murals peppered out, with Snoop rapping about the basketball legend’s rise to greatness. If you’d never heard of Kobe Bryant or had no idea who he was, this tribute would be mandatory viewing. It perfectly captures Kobe the player as well as Kobe the friend, father & husband. No doubt Kobe fans are gonna absolutely adore this beauty. Check out the full tribute below.
