You can almost feel the hit through the screen…

After a nasty five rounds that saw two fighters put it all on the line, Tim Tszyu managed to come out on top against Dennis Hogan to claim a TKO  in Newcastle. The bout saw the two fighters really cop a lot of damage, from the cut above Tsyzu’s right eye that obscured his vision with blood to the body shots that fucked Hogans liver region, the two stars really put it all on the line.

However, Tszyu really showed a killer calm and tactfulness, with fierce combinations and his constant maintenance of pressure eventually getting to Hogan, gaining momentum until he dropped him in the fifth round with a vicious uppercut. But Hogan, a two-time world title challenger, managed to get up rather quickly, demonstrating his resolve and years of ring experience against the more newer Tszyu. But in reality, the match was set in stone after that, Tszyu continuing to go to town on Hogan’s corner threw in the towel shortly after.

The match gave Tszyu his 18th victory (14th by knockout) and thus continues his undefeated streak. Watch the uppercut that decided it all as well as some other highlights from the fight below.
