What were you doing when you were 15 years old?

Whether you were collecting Tazos or flipping off old people at your local shopping centre, you probably didn’t spend your teenage years like The Kid Laroi. At the tender age of 15, the local hip-hop prodigy splits his time between school, the stage and the studio. Having released his 14 With A Dream EP earlier this year, Laroi has also just stepped off his first international support slot for R&B duo THEY., and has already recorded collaborations with local heavyweights like Manu Crooks & B Wise. According to Instagram, a track with skyrocketing American rapper Lil Skies is coming soon.

There’s no doubt that Laroi is one of the country’s most exciting talents right now, so we spent a day with the young artist – meeting up after school, visiting his little brother, picking up some clothes and hitting the stage at The Lansdowne Hotel. Watch it above, and keep two ears open for Laroi – you’ll be hearing a lot from him in the near future.
