Starting today, Maccas joints around Australia will offer the option for customers to pick up essential items like break and milk at the drive-through during the COVID-19 lockdown, attempting to “continue to support local communities during these uncertain times.”
A statement from the fast food giant read “from Wednesday onwards, in addition to our usual Macca’s menu, customers will also be able to pick-up two or three litre bottles of full cream or skim milk, as well as packs of English muffins and gourmet bread rolls.”
The statement continued “our contactless service removes any need for touch contact between our employees and customers, making it a safe way for people to get food and drinks, as well as these essential basics.”
Super dope, so if you’re on route for your annual Maccas run (tbh we’re not sure how much longer that’ll be a thing) and you need to pick up some groceries, you’ll be able to kill two birds with one stone. Incredible.
