‘One Quarter Pounder with extra meth please’…

A Western Australia man has been caught doing the unthinkable. Well, it’s definitely thinkable, but still, who the actual fuck would even try sneaking a meth-filled burger into hotel quarantine. The attempt came on New Years Day from a 52-year-old man (bit on the old side to be delivering meth) who visited the hotel around midday to ‘drop off some takeaway food.’

Unluckily for him, hotel quarantine is stacked with coppers and basically everyone you don’t want to see when you’re delivering meth, and naturally they noticed that he was a bit on edge, saying “The man appeared to be acting in a nervous manner” in a statement on Sunday.

After searching the food however, they found a whopping four syringes (inside a thick shake) along with a clip seal back with around 1.2 grams of meth inside the actual burger itself. It seems this wasn’t a random delivery either, with police stating that “Further evidence was located, which indicated he had been communicating with a person in quarantine in relation to delivering a quantity of methylamphetamine to the hotel.”

Speaking on the arrest, Acting Premier Roger Cook commented “What it goes to show is that we have all walks of life in our hotel quarantine. Some who are doing the right thing, others who have got a more relaxed view about the rules and the laws of the state. It’s great that our security teams were able to get on top of that situation.”

The delivery man in question has since been charged with possessing a prohibited drug with intent to sell or supply, and is due to face Perth Magistrates Court on January 29. Check out the quarter pounder with extra meth below.
