Someone had to say it…

Nick Kyrgios, a man who hasn’t been treated the most favourably in the media in the past, is definitely getting the love right now, with his calling out of Novak Djokovic as well as Bernard Tomic’s girlfriend Vanessa Sierra resonating hard with the masses.

You’re probably familiar with the Australian Open hotel quarantine madness, with a bunch of players set to play in the upcoming tournament forced to quarantine after positive cases of COVID-19 were detected on their planes to Australia. Understandably, players aren’t happy about their predicament. But even though World No. 1 Novak Djokovic doesn’t actually have to isolate, he sent a tonne of demands to tournament organisers on behalf of players, which included the likes of allowing players to move to private homes with tennis courts.

Now, Kyrgios has called out Novak, labelling him a tool for the demands. The two don’t have the best history, so no doubt this probably isn’t gonna help their relationship, but damn, someone had to say it.

He also called out Bernard Tomic’s girlfriend Vanessa Sierra, who posted a video complaining about hotel quarantine as well as not having access to a hairdresser, saying “This is the worst part of quarantine: I don’t wash my own hair. I’ve never washed my own hair. It’s just not something that I do.

“I normally have hairdressers that do it twice a week for me, so this is the situation that we’re dealing with.”

I don’t even have any words for that. Fucking hell man. Check out Kyrgios’ justified response + Sierra’s hotel quarantine vid below.
