Carla Uriarte is an artist that refuses to exist within any preconceived lines. Instead, she lets her creativity fill all the spaces of her life, happily spilling over onto the art world with glee.

Uriarte grew up worldwide, born in the Philippines, moving to San Francisco and spending five years in Spain before finding herself in Sydney. This globetrotting way of life led her to possess an affinity for being constantly curious and attuned to her inner-dialogue. This free-wheeling mindset has soaked itself into every fibre of her artistic identity, from her expressive illustrations, and experimental animation and confessional writing pieces. If there’s any takeaway from looking through Uriarte’s ever-expanding catalogue of work, it’s that you’ll never know what she’s going to do next – and we wouldn’t want it any other way!
