KFC’s New Triple-Decker Chicken Burger Is A Bun-Less Heart Attack In Waiting

It’s true that you can layer meat-on-meat-on-meat, but should you?

In news that’ll bring vegetarians to tears, KFC Singapore has introduced a meaty range of bun-less, triple-decker chicken burgers to its menu. The greasy meal, called the Cheesy Zinger Triple Down, includes a stack of three deep fried chicken fillets, sandwiched around two turkey bacon slices and dairy farms’ worth of melted cheese.

With a calorie count of 700, the meat-on-meat-on-meat arrangement looks (and probably smells) like a heart attack on a plate. Diners who are rightfully nauseated by Colonel Sanders’ most recent grease grab can also enjoy a ‘slimmed down’ version of the burger, with single and double fillet options that are still equally fat.

But for all its deep fried, diarrhea-inducing ingredients, there’s still something sickeningly appetising about clogging all your arteries with a single mouthful. Thankfully for Singaporean waistlines, the new KFC range will only be offered for a few more weeks.
