Following their recent team up with funk lord Anderson .Paak just last week, Vans are coming in hot with another collab this Friday, teaming up with Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon to celebrate the beloved anime in the form of the Old Skool Overt CC.

The new kick embraces the shows vibrant colour palette, utilising hot pinks and magentas on the upper and midsole, striking a nice contrast with the monochromatic black and gray tones stretched across the heel. To finish it off, Sailor Moon’s transformation brooch is embossed over the laces with a portrait of the iconic character on the side, in what’s a technicolour splash of colour.

And unsurprisingly, the shoe has the tech to match, featuring a 360-degree sculpted midsole which offers a compression channel crumple zone and folded removable insole. It’s definitely a show focused on comfort, with a rubber outsole plate for grip and traction as well as extra foam along the shoe’s collar, tongue, and quarter panels helping to maximise wearability.
