Why do Something Very Special campaign shoots always look like the best time?

Maybe it’s the art direction from head honcho Ainsley Hutchence? Or the nostalgic feel of Troy Freyee’s photography? Or the fact that the Something Very Special drops somehow make you feel like you’re on holiday? Whatever the reason, we once again find ourselves sucked right in by one of their shoots, this time for their summer range, ‘One Love Harvest’.

The collection is a tribute to a small island in the Caribbean called Anguilla, where Hutchence spent time as a teenager after following her high school sweetheart there. Her recollection of the smell of weed in the air, the white sand and the reggae music underpins the collection — it’s like a vision into her memory and the sun soaked days she spent on the island.

Over bikinis, logo shirts, singlets and more, we’re hit with washed out rasta motifs, cartoon logos and hazy graphics that could easily be from that beach side bar right through to the afters. Head here to shop ‘One Love Harvest’ now.
