Dropping in Oatmeal and Black colourways, the LX Old Skool 36 Souvenir is showing Vans’ love of punk.

You know the kind of leather jacket you’d see Blondie, the Ramones, or pretty much any other punk icon wearing? Now imagine it covered in mismatched pins and badges. That’s the vibe behind Vans’ new LX Old Skool 36 Souvenir, which has just dropped in Oatmeal and Black.

Rather than a straight-up reissue, this premium take on the Old Skool leans into a worn-in, lived-in aesthetic. Distressed souvenir pins are attached directly to the upper, the iconic Sidestripe gets a frayed multicoloured knit treatment, and the pre-aged finish makes them look like they’ve already survived a few years of gigs, skate sessions and questionable decisions.

Elsewhere, the higher sidewall and Osnaburg-inspired foxing tape nod to Vans’ ’90s archive, while a Sola Foam ADC insole, made with at least 30% biobased PU foam, brings the comfort up to modern standards.
