Kinda makes sense for Ksubi to have a Sydney flagship store, right?

The globally loved label, which now has stores everywhere from New York and LA to Chicago and Miami, was founded right here in Sydney all those years ago. And now seems like the perfect time to make another big move in its hometown, with the brand arguably at the peak of its powers and continuing to tap into culture in a way that feels genuinely authentic.

Last night we hit Westfield Sydney for the official opening of Ksubi’s new flagship store, located in the shopping centre’s luxury precinct. Marking the brand’s third Australian flagship and seventh location globally, the new space was given a proper christening, with a packed guest list, tunes courtesy of Set Mo and Troy Beman, and drinks flowing thanks to Cointreau and Heineken.

There were also tattoos on offer courtesy of Ganne from Red Dragon Tattoo, including three Ksubi flash designs. Anyone brave enough to get the brand’s iconic box cross permanently inked onto their skin was rewarded with a pretty ridiculous perk: one free pair of Ksubi jeans every year. Meanwhile, a select few guests were handed VIP keys to the city, unlocking 30% off at Ksubi stores around the world. Not a bad souvenir from a store opening.
