Over the past three months, The Exchange has been put under the hammer – receiving some serious renovations that form part of Newcastle’s widespread revitalisation. The Exchange’s new look took greatly from the venue’s historic past, and sprinkled it with modern comforts including a DJ booth and a grass roof to give some picnic vibes over summer. This was all on show at the venue’s opening night, where Newy’s finest tested out the city’s latest favoured watering hole.
