South Korean tech giant LG is bridging the gap between NFTs and TV with its latest venture, announcing its new NFT marketplace LG Art Lab. The new feature allows users to buy and sell the digital artworks directly from their TV, and is set to host a “highly curated selection of world-class artists from around the globe.”
To access the marketplace, users can simply to navigate to it from their TV’s home screen. Once inside, they can scan the QR score on their screen to complete their NFT transaction, with the help of the Wallypto app. So far, there aren’t any artworks available on the platform, however, LG has announced artists Barry X Ball as the brains behind the first collection to LG Art Lab on September 22nd. And once the marketplace gets bustling and NFTs are added on a monthly basis, the marketplace will utilise a countdown feature to remind users when NFTs are scheduled to drop.
LG proudly presents LG Art Lab, our NFT marketplace that will host a highly curated selection of world-class artists from around the globe. We are excited to introduce our inaugural artist, BarryXBall, to highlight LG Art Lab's premier artists.

Currently, LG Art Lab is only accessible to US LG television owners. However, knowing the speed with which NFTs are continuing to spread throughout the world, the marketplace will be available down under before you know it. Check out some of Barry X Ball’s art below, and keep an eye out for LG Art Lab.
