Here at Life Without Andy, we’re always on the search for more photographers to be out and about on the weekend circuit – and the newest recruit to the team is Brayden Smith.

Emerging from The Shire – once home to Australian greats including Lara Bingle, David Peachey and Aaron Girgis – Brayden is an enthusastic shooter with an undying passion for music and a sharp eye for snapping at all the right moments. Having saved up for his first DSLR back in high school, he was encouraged by his Year 12 art teacher to combine his loves of music and photography, and he hasn’t looked back since.

It wasn’t so easy at first – he recalls sending hundreds of emails to record labels and managers trying to get a break, but momentum built after his work was featured on a blog, and now his galleries can be seen each and every week on Life Without Andy. We respect his hustle, energy and drive to get all the right shots – which is why we’ve chosen Brayden to host this week’s edition of Frames.

It’s still very much early days for Brayden, so we can only imagine what’s in store for him as he hits the road for more gigs, festivals and iconic music moments. Catch up with him on Instagram right here:
